MKTG 3347 week 8- Social Media Report
This week, I took a closer look at the Facebook page I made a few weeks ago. Once on my business page, I can view a variety of metrics by clicking on the "insights" tab at the top of the page. This tab will show me information like page views, page likes, page reach, post engagement etc.. The Actions on Page button separates viewers by gender, age, country, city and device. With these tools there is a significant amount of data you can acquire regarding those viewing your page. Posting content and watching how the metrics change based on the information you share would be interesting to analyze moving forward.
Currently, I do not have enough data to analyze these metrics in more detail as I have not posted on the page for some time. However, adjusting the date range to January has given me more detail regarding the amount of post likes and reach. Once the company takes off, I will utilize these tools to see how our content is being viewed by those on Facebook. It will be interesting to see how the metrics change once the company becomes active and more users become familiar with it.
