MKTG 3347 week 12-Surfing the Tsunami Chp. 5

In Surfing the Tsunami, chapter 5 primarily focuses on adopting AI. While adapting refers to learning about AI and paying closer attention, adopting focuses on AI related tools and platforms that help with managing AI. Professor Kelsey suggests that this level is the second best option of the three levels.

Similar to Mr. Kelsey, I think I am a realist when it comes to AI as the advancement of AI in our society is inevitable and not necessarily intended for global domination. We already see how companies like Amazon have introduced these concepts with online commerce and products like the Kindle. As suggested in the chapter, I will visit the WorkFusion site to go through their Automation Academy Program to get a deeper understanding about these topics.

On the other hand, the alternative to adopting AI is to ignore, resist, and reject AI. However, the economic reality suggests that this is not necessarily a wise option. Companies especially should look to make sustainable transitions to AI as they should view AI platforms as opportunities as opposed to threats. Adopting AI platforms can essentially lead people closer to managing AI as this is best option the book mentions.

MKTG 3345 week 4-Go Mobile

This week for class, I dived a little bit deeper into a Google Analytics account to analyze a variety of information. I was specifically focused on comparing the amount fo desktop users to mobile users. To do so, I first set the date range to include the last 30 days. After that, I navigated to the left side of the page where I clicked on the button Audience. A drop down button appeared and I selected Mobile Overview. As you can see in the chart above, information is separated based on desktop and mobile users. This information shows that there have been 130 desktop users and 23 mobile users in the last 30 days. Other metrics like new users, bounce rate, and session duration are also measured. All of these metrics can help companies better understand how users are viewing their content and which method may be more effective for them.
